Capsule CHEAT SHEET is now available!

Capsule is a startup pharmacy based out of New York City that specializes in home delivery of patients’ medications. They have physical offices in major cities, where, if you live within their delivery area, your prescription(s) are filled before being hand-delivered to you at a scheduled time.

While not a traditional "mail order" pharmacy, Capsule has proved to be a viable alternative to filling prescriptions at a local retail pharmacy for some of my patients, and it seems to be an especially great fit for tech savvy folks who would prefer local delivery to receiving their prescriptions via mail.

The instructions I've included in their CHEAT SHEET are admittedly less detailed than for the other pharmacies, since I've personally never managed a patient's "mail order" needs with Capsule. However, after a few calls to them and setting up my own account just to see what it was like, what I've learned is included in their CHEAT SHEET in case it's helpful for patients who are new to their pharmacy, which is a bit of a different model from any other I've encountered.
